Rifle Scopes Which rings to use to swap scopes.

Have a HDMR H59 scope that I would like to switch between two rifles. I have it currently mounted with Warne Maxima QD rings but also have Seekins 34mm rings that are not QD. I believe the Seekins are higher quality but would need tools to swap the scope around. Not too big a problem but the QD function is nice. Seeing what recommendations are out there.

I've swapped scopes around a bunch with Seekins bases and rings.
It's about a 5 minute job with a Borka torque driver.

I wouldn't use QD rings on any precision rifle. Use the Seekins and get a torque wrench. It's easy to swap with them.

Am looking also at Larue LT120. They might be higher than I would like as this would be on a 20 MOA seekins base on my Rem 700. Also much more cost.

Those are meant for ARs and will put your scope up very high. Use your Seekins rings.

Was thinking of getting the Larue LT120 myself and by what they have on their website it seems that it doesn't mount your optics higher at all. For a 56mm housing it looks like they have it mounting about as low as it will go. Here is what they have printed:

The LT120 QD Scope Mount is similar in design to the LT111, however it allows scope to be mounted lower to the bore. It is available in 34mm or 30mm rings. The height is set for 1.285" centerline of the scope above the M1913 Picatinny rail. Because the LT120 sits the scopes lower to the bore, they will not align properly with weapon-mounted clip-on night vision devices which sit at 1.535”. Additionally, it will not work with scopes that have an Objective Housing larger than 56mm which is the largest that will fit and still allow the use of lens caps. The mount has a 0 MOA built-in cant. The LT-120 will also accommodate the US Optics T-Pal with its larger turret body. The generous 2.9" ring spacing accommodates large turret blocks with ease.

Is this not the case? From what I read it looks like they made it mount low. Please correct me if I'm wrong. I haven't been around for very long and have alot to learn still.
