Hey guys I am in search of a new gun that my wife and I can both shoot if/when we start to go to events together. I am looking at different stocks right now to show the wife and see how much she likes them. I figure the more she likes everything the bigger the budget I can talk her into. I would like something with a relatively easy length of pull and cheek height adjustment. I was browsing the "precision rifle" picture thread and like the look of the AICS chassis but I imagine that is one of the more expensive ones. Any thoughts on what to look at?

Best advice I can give. Use the money you spend on the cheap one to buy the one to want.
The AICS Chassis would be great for 2 people to share.
And would be very easy to recoup your money if shooting is not for you.

Good equipment will be fun to use, hold it's value and will be easy to sell.

Since it will be a rifle we will share I'm thinking something adjustable for both of us, something 6 or 6.5mm in size so she can shoot a bunch and not get sore. Suppressed with a good scope and bipod.

How different in size are you? Not just height, but arm length and such?

My wife and I can easily shoot the same setup. She is shorter, but has a longer neck and arms proportionally.

Not that different she is 5 4". I'm 5 6". My arms measure about 1/2 inch longer overall which translates to 1/4 inch LOP difference between us and we only notice that with rifles that we shoot standing. Prone we are happy shooting each other's rifles. Head position may. Have more to do with the difference than anything. I lean in to the scope more than she does. Hope that helps.
