Suppressors Which suppressor mirage cover for Omega?

I like armageddon better than the cole-tac. The cole tac (also branded as silencerco) WILL slip forward if you don't really tighten the straps down. The geddon snugs tight behind the can, no way it can even slip forward.

That being said, I've read the cole-tac with the silicone type liner (think they brand it as high temp?) does stay in place better

I've used the Armageddon offerings and the burn proof gear stuff. Both will suit your needs easily, but the BPG covers are not as intuitive as the Armageddon with regards to cinching down to prevent slippage.

After I had an... incident with the BPG contacted them and they were super helpful in resolving my issue. I wouldn't hesitate buying another Armageddon or BPG cover.

full disclosure - I have no experience with the rifles only offerings but they have had high reviews as well.

I did a little more research and came upon a thread on ar15.com and it seemed to have gotten mostly favorable reviews. Removal seemed to be one of the biggest gripes, but another post stated to place hand sanitizer in the flutes/grooves of the interior part of the cover and spin it a round and for the short time you have before the sanitizer evaporates it allows the cover to move freely/off.
I have been thinking about getting one of those. Have you tried it out yet?

I have the Armageddon cover with a SiCo Omega. If you use the end cap with the muzzle brake/comp design the cover may get damaged if it is over the ports. I put the flat end cap on mine, but I haven't gotten around to using the cover yet.

I have the Rifles Only HAD/ MAD cover. Built solid and I've had it pretty damn hot on my 12.5 SBR.

Once it's setup it swaps between cans easily and can be slid back allowing the can to cool. The rear cord that loops behind the suppressor keeps it in place under recoil.

+1 for the Rifles Only MAD cover. Never tried the Armageddon gear cover though.
One thing that bothers me though on my Rifles Only cover is the silicone end dip. When i pull the cover off my can, it leaves a sort of residue on the suppressor. Anyone else have an issue with this?

I have a Bowers silicone sleeve on my Aryres, it was a bitch to put on, but it hadn't moved in years, I have an old TAB Gear cover on my Shark, I like that I can slide it back to let the can cool, don't know if it matters though

I recently purchased the Bowers silicone cover mentioned above.
After 300 plus rounds of .308 fired in my bolt gun I am very pleased with my $40 investment.
It was easy to install, hasn't slipped at all, and mitigates mirage very well!

Tried my Rifles Only had out today, worked great for mirage although it was on a bolt rifle. I'm going to test it with some mag dumps out of my 10.3" 5.56 next. It does slide forward but I think once I get the straps broke in I can get it to keep from moving.
