I have a Tikka T3x Superlite in 300WM. I want to have the 24.3" barrel cut back to 22" and threaded. I'll be using a Griffin EZ Brake to mount my Paladin. The mount comes in 1/2x28 or M13x.75

With a .308 bore and .63 barrel diameter, which of these thread options would you recommend?

I understand your predicament, but my opinion is that neither 1/2x28 or M13x.75 should be used for a 300WM suppressor. 9/16" is generally considered the minimum thread diameter for that amount of energy, and GA doesn't offer a taper adapter/brake in that size.

I wouldn't go that small of a thread on a .30 cal, especially not a WM nor with a can & mount that heavy (even though it's a fairly light can for it's size and construction).

I messaged Griffin and they said to go with 1/2x28. I'll discuss it with the gunsmith. If he's comfortable with it, I'll go that route. If not, I'll just leave it alone until it's time to rebarrel the gun. Thanks for the responses.

I had a similar predicament. Here’s another option.
I ended up selling my ss T3 superlite in 300wm to a friend for $600 when I found a T3x veil 300wm on the forums….mainly to get a threaded barrel for a brake. I had that superlite a long time and always wanted to thread it to use my suppressor or a brake, but it’s too thin in my opinion.

I paid $860 shipped for the veil. I sold the superlite to a friend, but you could probably get 700+ for yours.
Ended up with a nicer rifle for a pretty small amount of money ($260)….Threaded 5/8x24, factory brake, cerakoted, camo stock, etc

I was in your shoes a while back I have a SS Tikka Superlite 300WM that I wanted to put my suppresser on, but after some research I came to the conclusion that threading the barrel just wasn't worth it. I was going to sell it and go with the Tikka Super Varmint 300WM, but decided you can't have too many rifles, so I kept it and still went with the Tikka Super Varmint..... :) I am glad I did the two stage trigger it comes with is great worth the extra money to me and it shoots better than I was hoping for.
