Gunsmithing Who can help me?

I currently have a 700 SPS tactical in 308, and I want to rebarrel it in 243. I want the same gun but in 243. Who would you recommend to do the work and what barrel should I be looking at? I want a 20" bull barrel.

I will also have the barrel threaded, and the whole barreled action trued as well, and then have it melonited as well.

The end goal is long range target gun and hunting deer and varmint.

Any gunsmiths you can recommend?

I don't know what his backlog is, but you're close to Dave Tooley, one of the best in the trade.

if wanting close to ya and a all around great guy hard to beat Tooley. Each smith usually has a favorite barrel maker. that being said I have had good luck with bartlien and rock creek. how soon you wanting it done? grizzly and bugout had barrels in stock last I checked but going to pay more that way. personally I like shooting the 243 and as soon as I can get someone that can shoot to shoot it I'm going to be more impressed.
