A friend of mine saw my dpms lr308 with .243win upper and wants one. He can't seem to find one. Is there any other manuf. making them? Thanks for the help.

Unfortunately the barrel twist is a bit slow on them and you're probably going to be limited around the 95gr bullet weight.
Shooting it out shouldn't take too long though, then just have a 1;8 put on it.

Made a great one for me too. Eagle Lower, Armalite upper, Rock barrel. Worth the wait of finding the parts and having it chambered / assembled.

Thanks fellas. I would love to have one from GAP. My friend found a dpms on gb for 1100.00. He may buy it. The things I've learned from mine is that eats ammo much faster than my bolt gun and Im hooked on this 243 round. Might have to have my first custom bolt gun build in 243. Thanks again for the suggestions.
