The american public is about as blind an stupid as it gets. The reason this type of shit is going on <span style="font-weight: bold">Here</span>, is because it gets results. Same reason this country is in the shape it's in.

For every guy like us that recognizes this as BS immediately, there are 3 others that swallow the hook.
The average intelligence in the US is on a steady decline. Simply put, stupid people tend to have more kids

Yup - I've had one very similar to that for a couple of different services over the years. Same basic approach: they send you a bank check for over the amount, then ask that you wire the difference to a 3rd party.

Even if the approach doesn't get the hairs on the back of your neck standing up, the total giveaway is the overpayment part.

Please bring cash for the upcoming hunt. The cost will be $7500 each plus expenses to and from the hunting area, plus accomodations for all to include the guid and his employees. If that is not acceptable, the amount of $20,000 each will cover everything. We will pick you up at the airport and make all arrangements after that to include drop off upon departure. Please let me know how many in the party and send the payment in certified bank check to US Post Office XXXXX for hold to (your name)
