I have only be reloading now for a little over a month. I've been ordering A LOT online so as to try and avoid waiting in line to get into my local gun shop(the place is a mad house lately. Seems as if every past GUNGRABBER now wants a gun:rolleyes:). What I have noticed is a HUGE difference in online retailers as far as customer service. My question is, who is your first click when you want to order something for reloading/hand loading?

For powder & primers : Powder Valley
For tools etc: Midway & Brownells
For handgun bullets: Rocky Mountain Reloaders
For rifle bullets I look at a lot of sources.

This year I’ve bought from pretty much everyone on my list but I try and buy from Powder Valley.

Powder Valley
Midsouth
Brownell’s
Bruno’s
3rd Gen
RMR
OTM

Natchez, Mid South, Powder Valley, Midway, OTM, Mile High, and Brownell’s / Sinclair. Depends on who has the most of what I want in one spot so that I don’t double the order costs from shipping costs.

If you get set up with any kind of discount/dealer account at brownells, that helps.

Their membership program with free 2 day shipping is worth it if you make more than a couple orders a year.

And if you keep your purchases to whatever discount code ($10 off 100, $15 off $150, $20 off 200) you can pretty much keep a 10% off everything. This is especially true if the code includes free shipping or you have the 2day membership.

If I’m going to buy say 1000 bullets, I’ll make 2 orders of 500 each to make sure I don’t exceed the discount too much.

Used all those, usually try mile high first for bullets and brass. Powder valley for powder but I will use any of them if they have what I need when I need it for a decent price.

I haven’t seen any codes on the brownells site lately. Maybe due to the covid hoarding, but they used to run some type of code daily?
