Who makes a good reactive steel target

Edit: shit I wrote a whole post and didn’t notice the OP wanted hostage reactive targets. Sorry man! If you like reactive targets in general, read on…

I like Atlas Target Works. I really like his attachment systems for the KYL and gong targets (they’re different the each other btw). They seem very resistant to damage and won’t wear out like rubber straps or chains.

The owner took the time to discuss the particulars of his stands etc. to me.

Plus, he’s rolling out SR500+ steel, which he describes this way:

“SR500+ is a purpose-built ballistic steel made from the ground up to withstand bullet impacts whereas AR500/AR550 was made for the mining industry to resist abrasion. SR500+ is much harder than AR500 meaning it pits less and has more impact resistance than AR550 meaning it's less prone to cracking than AR steels at a similar hardness.”

I bought his stuff before the rollout of the better stuff, but I look forward to using it in the future.

I’m much more of a hunter, so I really appreciate his animal targets.

A lot of the animal targets can be placed in two different ways.

And my favorite, prairie dog targets!

In this one he discusses the KYL rimfire particulars.

He makes a centerfire KYL too.

So far I own the pdogs, the rimfire KYL, and the centerfire KYL plus two target stands for the KYL. I put the pdogs on the CF stand when I shoot them.

I don’t know the dude from Adam, but I had a really positive experience with him.
