Who makes Aero Precision barrels.?

I just traded up a a brand New Areo Precision upper with 24" heavy fluted SS 308 barrel and was just wondering since Aero doesnt have a 24" fluted barrel on their website if maybe they had them produced for them? Any info is greatly appreciated. Ill be using this as a platform for building a 6.5 CM off of it

I have a ba 6.5 premium 24” barrel and it shoots very consistent from my rifle

So my 308 barrel doesnt have the BA branding on it. Its a factory AERO Upper ordered complete from Aero. Would it come with a 24" barrel with nothing but caliber, twist rate and SS stamped on it?

That’s not a BS or Aero barrel. Did you order this from Aero or did someone else say they ordered from Aero?

It looks like Bear Creek Arsenal markings to me. Definitely not Ballistic Advantage.

If you ordered it directly from aero here is almost no possible way it has a bear creek barrel in it and if it does I would send it back.

I can’t read a single letter in that picture.

I would remove the handguard and look for markings down around the nut.

Does the handguard have any markings?

He did not order it from Aero. Someone else claimed it came from Aero. Aero does not mark barrels in the manner or in the location that this barrel is but Bear Creek does...me thinks someone lied about it coming from Aero with this barrel installed....

Barrel making is a specialized manufacturing business. You can bet that 95% of the people selling barrels for ARs (Aero included) make no barrels of their own.

You didn't think that Ford has a brake caliper factory somewhere, right?

Yeah when i met the guy to do some trading he said he had ordered it and it was a Aero upper. Me assuming he meant it was a complete Aero Upper not just the upper receiver lol. Either way the barrel is going and the handguard is also

Yeah That doesn’t work with aero precision though. Aero bought their supplier so it would be like if ford owned the company that makes their calipers.

Ok from what ive found its a ELD Defence barrel, and it seems ELD Defence/precision,/ect... does not have a website? Or at least one i can find. Oh well scrap pile it is maybe a build for later on. Who knows. My LGS is a Aero dealer and can get me the 6.5 CM Barrel im needing for this build. But from what i have in the trade even at the $269 for the upper on DTT website im still $150 to the good lol. I appreciate everyone's help and advice and yes even the trying to be sarcastic ones ? thanks a bunch guys and gals one more reason i am glad to have joined this site.

If i wasn't planning on using the upper for a 6.5 build i would shoot it and see but already having a LR308 in DPMS lite hunter that shoots excellent for a factory rifle i think i may just keep it for a later build or throw it up for sale if the AR market ever comes back
