I have a DPMS LR308 and the bcg isn't reliable. Price aside, who makes the best, bullet proof as possible replacement?

Necro Are these options compatible with the DPMS G2?
None of the options talked about are DPMS GII compatible. Like BCP posted, Adams Arms was a source, and quite helpful for certain parts in the past, but I don't know what is currently happening there.Necro Are these options compatible with the DPMS G2?
Palmetto made a knock-off GII soon after the GII was released, and I thought it had to have been licensed, but it wasn’t. They got a cease and desist and it went away I think. DPMS was kinda surprised they did that after all the RDT&E DPMS did to build the GII up from scratch, run all the rifles through pyramid testing, and develop the SKUs. The time and budget for that developmental work was significant.None of the options talked about are DPMS GII compatible. DPMS/Panther Arms was bought by JJE Capital (Palmetto State Armory) in the Remington Outdoor bankruptcy sale, and had talked about bringing back the GII line, but no firm date has been given. With the popularity of the Ruger SFAR and market dominance, they might not be considering it a priority. That and they didn't get any technical drawings or files for the GII in the bankruptcy sale, so it will have to be reversed engineered.
There is one source that does manufacture and sell some GII parts, including bolts and BCGs. They've only been in business a couple years and I haven't used them yet. Link: defense-depot,com
