Absolutely. Many times.

Once point blank in the chest. Left chest, 4th intercostal, about 1/2 way between sternal border and mid clavicular line. Exited the 5 intercostal mid axillary. Quite the oblique shot placement.

9mm FMJ.

Barrel was pressed into skin when trigger was pulled.
Blast collapsed the lung down, had a heck of a pulmonary contusion and a couple holes. No lac to lung tissue.

Kid (22 yo) was a little crummy but yelling about killing the rival dealer who just stole his dope and cash after shooting him.

Discharged 3 days later.
