No sure if this is in the correct spot or not. I have a heavy Bell Carlson stock
And would like to have the forearm a little wider. Any ideas on how to do this?
You know,so it will be more steady on the front rest..Thanks.

Unless you've got experience with fiberglass/epoxy work, it might be far easier to purchase a different stock if there's any significant amount of material to be added. Various epoxy putties/structural foams/fillers are available depending on exactly what you want to do- and then it would all need to be re-finished.

Just buy a piece of Delrin flat plate/bar from amazon in the rough dimension that you want. You can cut it on a table saw to your desired finish size. Figure out how many screws you want to use and where you want to locate them. Drill the holes, countersink and use self tapping stainless machine screws, available at any hardware store. Not terrible on the ugly girl scale......
