wild labradar speeds?

outdoor range, heavily covered for sound reduction to appease neighbors. breaking in a new rifle. couple shots no problem, around 2950fps. then two 4500fps and later a 6000fps reading then back to normal after that! brass was fine, gun didn't blow, groups were good so clearly the big numbers were a mistake. any ideas? easy enough to go into the series and delete the fliers.

It’s getting funky readings from the radar reflections off the sound abatement stuff

Set it to low power mode when a range has baffles. Also take the time to ensure the unit is well aimed at the target.

Yes, try reducing the sensitivity setting as @spife7980 suggested.
