Will this work?

Im looking at getting the Bushnell FFP 6-24 it has only 17 mils for elvation(as i was told). I dont know if that would get me out to 1000 yards or not with a 20moa base. So i thinking bout getting a Badger 30moa base. The question is will i be able to get a 100 yard zero or not with the 30moa base? If anyone knows it sure would help me out.

Its a Remington 700 SPS Tactical in 308 in a A5

you will be fine, that should get you over 13mils of elevation which is enough to go to 1000yds. and even alittle beyond

at 3400ft I use 9.5-11 mils with mine. depends on the day.

Get a 20 minute base to keep the recticule mechanically and optically centered where a scope functions best. The other thing to keep in mind is that when the mfr says 17 mils of elevation it means total travel which gives you about 8.5 mils from a 100 yard zero and that might not work.
