Does the Whisper live up to the hype? Anyone been able to compare it to an 762SD or YHM 762?

Apparently the Whisper is so quiet that nobody on the hide has actually heard it!

I'd love to see some first hand info on it as well. Here's a post that was floating around a while back. It didn't generate much in the way of details...

The Whisper is likely a solid unit. It is larger volume than most, so it is probably in the ballpark of 30-32DB reduction, and it is about the same weight as stainless suppressors while being titanium, so it is probably fairly durable too.

IE it has a faster cooling material, that is massive enough to absorb reasonably high amounts of temperature input without over heating.

Now that the prices have shifted closer to reasonable given the titanium construction and Wilson brand name, the suppressor is probably a reasonable value. It was originally announced at an more optimistic price of ~$2200.
