The barrel is installed. Have to finish making the recoil lug for the receiver and bed the action in the stock. The stock is an original International and is a left hand stock. It was missing all the metal hardware when I got it. Got a Freeland trigger guard but it was a rough casting. The machine work is done to that just have to do finish polishing to it when the rifle is all put together.

Barrel finish length is 22". Might shorten it up to 21" yet. When I run the iron sights I'll use the bloop tube. The barrel is chrome moly steel so that and the action needs to get reblued yet. I'll send that out after it's bedded. The contour is a modified heavy palma. 1.100" x 3.5" tapers for 2.5" down to 1.000" then str. tapers to .900" at the bloop tube shoulder. Just like my first 52D build it's a 8 groove, left hand twist and a gain twist as well. First one worked so well I'll keep with the same recipe.
