Re: Win LR Primer?
Note that Win brand does not sell match labelled primers. Seems as though they don't see a need for such a distinction with their primers. I haven't used enough to determine whether they are indeed match quality, but I can say they worked well enough in service rifle loads that I use them exclusively for my Garand and all my hunting ammo. 'Bout a decade back, PS did an article comparing the brisance from the popular brands, and the Win primers generally tested as more potent The Win powders, which the W primers were developed to ignite, are spherical powders, and sphericals are generally considered more stubborn to ignite. Therefore, the win primers are more definite in their ignition of stubborn powders. I like them for long powder columns, like the .30'-06.
