Winchester M-22 ammo

Anyone shoot Winchester M-22 ammo? How consistent is it? Does it feed in your 10/22?

Shoots fine in my SR22, my custom 10/22, and my bolt action with no problems.

The M22 I tried was . . . . bing . . bang . . boom, totally inconsistent. Thought it was my imagination, chrono confirmed. Powder charges must have been very inconsistent with 150fps spreads out of my CZ512

1 or 2 failures per mag, every mag in my Walther P22. All shoot fine in SIG 522

I use it in my Colt Gold Cup and HK 22 lr with no problems and my colt is picky!

I could not even get it to shoot well in my bolt action rifles. I had 50yd groups that were 1" and larger and at least two rounds that failed to fire and/or stuck in the chamber. It has been one of the worst ammo brands that I have tested in the last six months. To give Winchester the benefit of the doubt, I figured maybe this lot had been poorly stored and exposed to high heat or something like that. I was not aware of the ammo recall on Winchester. How can I get the lot #'s of the recall?

Lot Numbers: GD42L and GD52L
Winchester has determined the above lots of 22 Long Rifle rimfire ammunition may contain double powder charges. Ammunition with double powder charges may subject the shooter or bystanders to a risk of serious personal injury and/or death, or cause firearm damage, rendering the firearm inoperable.
