For those of you who use this setup and are having problems with this function I may have a solution.

I was having a problem with the back button function on this website and a couple of others. I would the hit the back button repeatedly and wait for quite a while for it to function. On a certain Hi-Fi website I would have to hit the back button sometimes 10 to 20 times! Really was beginning to p**s me off.

I Googled (which is part of the problem) for a solution.
It is the dreaded Googleads.g.doubleclick.net problem.
It's a long story about how Google and Windows 7 with IE 9 "sees" certain pages and the ads on it which creates this problem.

Anyway this solution worked for me:

Under the TOOLS menu select INTERNET OPTIONS.
Select the SECURITY tab.
Click on RESTRICTED SITES.
Click on the SITES button.
In the dialog box, type HTTP://GOOGLEADS.G.DOUBLECLICK.NET
Click the ADD button.

I don't know why I can't get correct wording after dialog box but I'll try again
HTTP://GOOGLEADS.G.DOUBLECLICK.NET

Don't know the hell is going on but the correct wording after dialog box starts with HTTP and ends with NET
Hope this works for others with this problem.
