Member Link Up Winneqauh gun club, WI (So. WI and No. IL members)

I was wondering if any members use this range? I'm comtemplating a membership but before I pull the trigger, I wanted to see if a group of guys want to meet once or twice a month. The range has pits, so its a little difficult to go by yourself...


If your interested in long range shooting, this seems like a great club.

I'm located in northern Illinois, so if guys want to carpool that's an option also.

Tonight is the Ripon Wi club meeting. I'll be there as a new member . They have a 600 yard range just out of town and that's what I plan to frequent. They also shoot 600 yard F-class. I'm in Sheboygan Wi. More info after the meeting.

Thanks for the response northern50, ripon seems nice although it would be a bit farther for me than the club in Lodi.

Look at club fees in Lodi.... 50 dollars for the year at Ripon and from what the guy's said at the meeting we could have a Sunday every month, and if more are requested Sundays seem pretty open.

Im about to join lodi. 1300 yard range, indoor and outdoor ranges.... the possibility to help out at hpr competitions (thus greatly lowering membership fees).
It looks like a decent area.

Northern50, club fees are quite a bit lower at Ripon, do they have pits there or must you use a spotting scope? To be honest, I'm leaning more towards Lodi...I can shoot 450 yards for free here. If I'm going to spend the money, the gas and the time commitment to shoot, I'd rather have access to shoot the longer distances.


Boanerges57, I'm glad to hear your thinking about joining, my whole point of this post is to try to get a group of like minded individuals together. If I do join, well have to meet up.

ill probably put in my membership paperwork at the end of the month, so if you want to meet up just pm me. Ill probably be shooting after work or on weekends as I work in madison. im done at 2 or 3pm most days so i figure ill still have plenty of daylight left most days.
