I was wondering how you guys store your guns thru the winter months. Is there any "better" oil to use while the gun sits for months with no shooting?
The way I usually keep all my rifles in Pelican cases, Drag Bags, etc and every month i take them out and give them a quick swab of the barrel w/Hoppes No.9 then some dry patches then some Kroil in the barrel and Slip oil in the action. This way is done on all my AR's, my bolt guns is just a tad different.

Im talking about the Winter in the EAST COAST (i.e. western PA/eastern OH) not California!

Just wanted to hear your guys is ways. I know this is a kinda stupid question tho.

LOL! What is this winter that you guys are talking about? Here (SoKal) we get about 5-7 days of rain per year, and thats pretty much it. Its been 75-78 degrees and verry sunny here since new years day.
