WLRM's Weak?

I use WLRM's in a 300WM shooting 210 Bergers, & 208 A-Max's (all moly'd) with good results.(H-Retumbo, & working on H-1000 now) But all of my primers show cratering, but they also still have good radius showing. My brass is winchester, & I have several hundred with 6-7 reloads on them this way. Some will be slightly hard to extract, but not all, & I've had to toss some from cracking @ the base. I've downloaded to 2700 fps +/-, & still get the same thing.
Are my loads too hot, or are my components "soft"?

Cratering is due to excess gap around the firing pin.

I would guess that your brass has work-hardened and needs annealing.

If it's a newer remington it may have a beveled firing pin hole like mine does (it's a 700 SPS-V I bought this year). I called remington because every primer came out cratered even with light loads. They told me it is made like that with the firing pin hole slightly beveled because having a bit of primer material flow towards the centre strengthens the primer.

The rifle is a Win M-70, so there is no ejector plunger to look for signes of over pressure. I have noticed that my load with H-Reumbo has been carboning my case necks forever, but the H-1000 doesn't. I'm also getting higher MV with H-1000 with less cratering(still has some) than with the H-Retumbo.
