Anyone have any experience with WMD bolt carrier groups? I was collecting components for my first build before the madness and now my bcg options are limited. The bcg will be used with a Mega Arms billet upper/lower and Noveske Recon barrel. I don't want to settle for an inferior component, I would rather wait it out. Any thoughts are appreciated, thanks.

I have two of them. They are mil-spec, the first one I bought over a year ago even came with a Colt bolt. I like the coating for ease of cleanup, especially when suppressed. I learned my lesson with that from my old work guns over the years. They move very smoothly inside the rifle. I use Froglube and apply the same amount to these coated carrier groups as I do my phosphate coated ones. With the Froglube, they are extremely smooth cycling. The main thing is that they are mil-spec.

I run one in a Mega upper/lower, and Noveske 18" SPR barrel. It runs great and is very slick. From the specs they appear to be milspec with properly staked carriers and MPI tested bolt. You should be fine.

I agree with the above posts, I got quite a few of them a while back along with the NiB coated uppers and they have run flawlessly and are very smooth. I have no complaints at all with them.
