For the stated purpose of meeting the 922 compliance spec I can understand why it exists. The whole "pick whatever is perfect for you" is just extra marketing info. The real gem is to figure out how to keep that HK 922 compliant and this assists that.

I find it funny that one of the pics shows the lower with an ERGO PSG-1 style grip. Its an HK why would you not just get the HK PSG-1 grip that fits the HK receiver lol.

This! The 922r compliance is the key feature this offers because it provides you with one more option for a US-made part that goes toward your overall parts count.

Also, anything to improve the ergonomics of the original HK91/G3 platform is useful. That is one of the biggest complaints I hear from people who are used to the AR-platform rifles when they shoot HK's and clones. The ergonomics differences are pretty major between the two platforms with the AR being vastly superior!
