Wanting to buy a bolt action 223 or 308. Not looking for anything fancy. Building a few custom rifles but will take time for parts and want something to shoot in the meantime. Local shop hsd a savage 110 elite in mdt chasis for 1900 but wanna see if I can find something better here in that ball park range price wise. Let me know what y'all have

What on earth makes you assume everyone should just automatically realize rules have changed? Yes, there is a post in the “directives” section, but as far as I know, nothing in this area. At least nothing that jumps out at you. I think it’s safe to assume most people don’t automatically check the directives section everytime they log in. For someone who doesn’t spend a lot of time on the site, it’s very easy to understand how some people wouldn’t be current to recent policy updates. It’s almost expected actually. Most people are cool about it and just send a friendly reminder, but some people..
I've seen no less than a dozen threads (at least) where people keep getting told about it. That's not including the official thread.
After a while it gets old seeing literally the exact same thing going on over and over. It's no different than when I was in high school and the principal made an announcement in front of the entire student body. Then in each classroom the announcement was made again to make sure everyone understood.
Then low and behold every day for the next couple of weeks somebody comes in doing the exact thing that was previously discussed.
I don't mean to be an asshole but damn. Stop wasting bandwidth and time. I don't own any part of this or any other forum, but after a certain point these threads are a disrespectful disruption.
Just take a breath dude. It will be ok.
I could care less what people buy or sell. That said it is still irritating to keep on doing dumb stuff.
At some point, if this is going to keep on the mods and others will get pissed and start taking more drastic measures. I am trying to save them that hassle.
