WTB 6xc brass

I get the shipping is high but I would rather pay a few dollars more for NEW brass vs 1 fired not knowing how hot the load and what prep work was already done. Just comes down to what you are will to pay.

I'll probably just end up buying new brass from David tubb. The only reason I was considering used brass, is that a buddy gave me a 6xc barrel with 1000 rounds down it. Gonna shoot this barrel out and possibly switch back to 260.

True, for me its not worth it. For $1.10+/ea I don't feel they last long enough to justify their price tag which is why I started buying and converting 308 Lapua brass for $0.67/ea and it lasts longer and holds up under higher pressures better than the Norma brass.

I have 200 pieces of 4X fired Norma 6XC brass that came from Tubbs. I have plenty, so I would be willing to sell them. They have all been trimmed, and cleaned.

As you know, they cost me $89/100 + the high shipping. Make me a FAIR offer and I will consider shipping them to you.

I have some norma 6xc brass with well over 20 firings on it. I would say they last just fine.

Not trying to be a smart *** or hijack this thread, but I don't see the big deal on the price of Tubbs brass. Lapua isn't cheap and I shot it for years in numerous calibers. My current 6XC brass has 6 firings and were trimmed the first time, and not all of them needed trimming; primer pockets are still good and snug. I run a tad under max and get 3076 FPS. Shipping is shipping and somewhere along the line we pay for it in one form or another. There are no free lunches. Just sayin'.

There's nothing wrong with the price on the brass, it's $89/100 which is the best deal running but $20 for shipping is not a good deal when they could throw 100-200 in a small flat rate box for $7.15 to anywhere in the country.

As for whether or not there are free lunches, I would disagree because if you shop around you can have your cake and eat it too. I just bought 300 pieces of 308 Lapua brass to convert to 6 XC from Brownell's for $69.99 and also got $30 off and free shipping. So I basically paid $60/100 shipped and that's a great deal!

And you also have to spend time to convert it (cut, size, neck turn?) from 308 to 6xc. So is it still a free lunch? If you place no value on your time, then yes.
Some companies put a little bit on top of shipping to cover the employe that picks/packs/ships it to you. Different businesses handle things different ways.
It's up to the individual to decide if the shipping is too high and what their time is worth.

I dont consider a hobby to be work, I enjoy reloading and the experimentation almost as much as I enjoy shooting so the time spent is more than worth it and at the end of the day I'm making better brass than I can buy. Also, I'm using Lapua 308 Palma brass, can't get that from Norma.

I don't have anything against the Norma brass, it's decent stuff and great for people who just want brass that's ready to go. If you or anyone else is happy with it then that's awesome, I'm happy for you. I just prefer to go a different route that works better for me.
