Thanks for the reply. Really looking for the correct McMillan, but maybe this is an OK compromise. Do you think the individual you sold it to would be willing to let it go?

Doubt it. He had been looking for about a year and a half to complete a mk15 kit.

I may have a complete rifle if your interested. would have to check action screw spacing. it's basicly the clone of the Canadian sniper rifle but in a Mcrees chassis

Beb I assumed you were looking for a repeater action but you should specify whether it's that or a single shot. Repeaters of that vintage are extremely rare since about 75% of them were single shots.

I bought this rifle back in May but have two M107's and really don't need another 50. This was built by JD Jones (SSK Industries, SSK Firearms) and is still unfired. JD built it for himself but then retired and moved to Phoenix before shooting it and said he doesn't have a place for shooting...

For a McMillan, I believe any with the "BMG-" prefix in the serial should work, assuming it's a repeater. Also, if you're using one of the older style barrels, make sure the face of the bolt lug is beveled and not the flat one I believe the newer versions use.

Secured the correct action, so all set there. Just need the muzzle brake at this point.
