That's true, but irrelevant. I'll reiterate, a blasting cap has about as much power as an M80. It could probably blow fingers off if it went off in your hand, but that's about it. Saying it's a "high explosive" means nothing if it's the amount in a blasting cap.

You ask a very good question but your position is difficult to defend if you look at the female vote as a whole. A majority of women are for gun control and of course there will be a minority that are pro-2A. You are right that the pro-2A women have a different "education", rather back ground, than the women that are anti-gun. Due to the emotional component of their makeup they are easily convinced of the great evil that guns has perpetuated on society while thinking that abortion is not worse. That mental illness cannot be educated out of the majority. There will always be exceptions to the rule but that number will be small in comparison to the majority.

I think I am finally understanding what you are saying. The education is about the reason to own a gun, not about the gun itself. I agree with that completely but I still don't see a huge shift in the outcome of the vote. To me the issue is more systemic than that and it boils down to taking care of yourself or being taken care of by someone else, in this case it would be the government. On some level I believe that is a big driver for anti-gunners. "Who needs a gun to protect themselves? We have police and the government."

That argument doesn't hold any water for me. Ever since I joined the military I had "women in combat" and "women in the military" rammed down my throat.

It was done so much it made me puke.

My career as well as other male service members careers suffered because they wanted to put women in harm's way just for the sake of social experimentation.

Ask me if I give a fuck that these women got medals. The answer is no.

It's admirable that some of these women want to serve their country but the question is not "Who has a right to serve in combat?" but "Who can be compelled to serve in combat?"

The women who want to serve in non-traditional roles will cry like a teenage girl locking herself in the bathroom cause they can't have the "opportunity" to serve in combat.

I don't give two shits for their stupid-ass tears. There are some things that I never got to do because of affirmative action bull shit.
