For sale is a custom built 300 PRC. I built this rifle while building another one for a friend of mine. Rifle is built on a Kelby Atlas Tactical action and is chambered up with a 28" Proof Research carbon barrel with a 1:9 twist. Muzzle is threaded 3/4-24 and has a nice brake turned to blend right into the barrel. Stock is a carbon fiber Manners EH1 which weighs about 28-30 oz. Barreled action is pillar bedded into the stock and has two sling studs up front and one in back. Wyatt's extended mag box, follower, and custom bottom metal. Trigger is a Jewell set at about 10 oz. but is fully adjustable to your desired weight. As the rifle sits it weighs 10-1/2 lbs. so without the scope and rings it would be right around 8-1/2 lbs.
After breaking the barrel in I shot a group with some factory Hornady 212gr. ELD-X ammo. The 100 yard group pictured, one fouler and two pretty much in the same hole, is shots 4, 5, and 6 down the barrel. Cleaned the barrel again and took it out and shot another group at 650 yards just to check the chronograph speeds and verify the drop from my ballistics program. One fouler shot and 3 shots just over 3". Factory Hornady ammo shot really well and this would be a turn key packaged using it.
Price for just the rifle without the scope and rings is $3850. If the buyer wanted the complete package as it sits we could work out a cost for the scope and rings to be included. I'm sure I'm probably forgetting something so send me a message with any questions.
