Bought it new . I shot exactly 4 rounds of 338 and never fired with the 308 barrel.

I told him I would take the gun, all he has to do is go to his local gun shop (which I picked and spoke to before hand) and drop the gun off there and they would handle everything. Seems simple enough

I’ll let you guys know the details and if this works out or not, but he said he could drop it off at the dealer for me. We did end up working out a deal to include the conversion kit. I told him I would pay once the dealer has it in their possession. We will see.

So here is how it ended up....... he accepted my offer and then I ask him to take the gun to his local shop so I was protected because it felt off, then all of a sudden he gets another offer and no longer has the gun, so he is either a Scamming Liar or a plain Liar my money is on a Scamming Liar!

Whats your proof bud, he asked for a pic of the rifle with his user name on a piece of paper which i sent him, prior to this, i told him i do have other interested parties , he offered me $4500 had his doubt wasnt ready to purchase the rifle, someonelse matched the offer and was ready to go immediately! attached is the verification pic i sent to him !

This looks like a photoshop job to me. The link posted below analyzes the photo and shows abnormalities that indicate the paper with his name was added to the original photo at a later date. Take a look for yourself:

If you're legit, I'll be the first to eat crow and apologize. I've searched your username on most of the major forums and can't locate anyone by that username. What other forums are you on? Where did you sell the rifle and what was the buyers handle? No offense, but we tend to look out for each other pretty closely on this forum. If you wouldn't mind to provide that info it will make everyone a lot more likely to do business with you in the future. You have to admit that this is a BIG first sale for a brand new member with no verifiable history anywhere and the price was SUPER aggressive to top it all off. Doubt has been cast my friend. Help us help you....
