Selling my custom 300 PRC - $3k buyer pays shipping (or willing to meet within 3 hours of KC).
Barrel has about 700 rounds on it and is cleaned very regularly. About every 50 rounds.
I have dope out to 2911 yards (starting at 200y - 2100y and then to 2911) that I will be happy to provide.
I will also be happy to provide load data for Berger 245's and Hornady 250gr A-Tips.
I recently won a local ELR match with this rifle (King of KC). The rifle started to perform extremely well at long distance (2k+ yards) once I switched to 245gr Bergers from the 250gr A-Tip. Unfortunately for me, that was at the tail end of my ELR season. First round impacts at 1900 and 2100 yards in the last match I shot and somewhere between 20-30% hit ratio at 2911 in the couple matches prior to that. Probably higher if I was better at reading wind.
Current load has the 245gr Berger LRHT coming out at 2805fps average with an SD around 7-8. This load could likely be pushed further as I have encountered 0 pressure signs at this point but it works really well so I haven't bothered. Papers about .6 MOA with a 5 shot group from a cleaned and fouled barrel. It should be noted, this is with the suppressor on (SilencerCo Hybrid 46). If you intend to shoot this unsuppressed, you will need to verify/tune the load.
MPA BA Chassis (Tungsten)
Zermatt Origin Long Action
28" 1:8 right twist barrel, chambered by Straight Jacket Armory (4/15/24), cerakoted black to match action.
Trigger Tech Diamond 2 Stage
ERATAC 0-20 adjustable scope mount with 34mm rings (non-qd)
Accu-Tac HD-50 bipod (arca)
SilencerCo ASR muzzle break
Magpul PMAG 5 AC L magazine
I'd let go of all of the brass, bullets, dies with it for an additional $300. I'd also be willing to sell the following separate from the rifle for a slightly higher cost.
If you're local and interested in this stuff, I'll throw in like half a lb of Retumbo I have left and some Remington magnum primers.
220ish 250gr Hornady A-Tips
50ish 225gr Hornady ELD-M
120ish 215gr Berger Hybrid
60ish 245gr Berger LRHT
300ish pieces of Hornady brass
46 pieces of ADG brass
Hornady match sizing die (with bushing) and seating die
I don't really want to sell the glass as that's going on my PRS rifle but if you insist on taking it as a whole package, I'd do an additional $1k on the nose for the Athlon Cronus BTR Gen 2. In it's current configuration, the scope mount stays at 10mil which gives me 30mil of dialable in the scope with a 100 yard zero. You can then add the remaining 10mil of elevation in the mount for a total of 40mil of elevation before needing to hold over.
I would most likely continue ELR next season except my son wanted to start shooting PRS with me and I do not have the time/money to support 2 shooters in PRS and continue with ELR. I may be interested in production class 6gt bolt action rifles (eg GA PPR) as trade options, nothing custom though as I am looking to switch to production class in PRS next season.
