It depends on the ammo, CCI TNT green are great, I shot A17 rounds because they are cheaper. I only have 150 rounds thru the barrel. At 50 yards under a inch, with an occasional flyer. .17hmr are not nearly as accurate as .22lr due to the fact they are not match grade ammo. Still a fun gun and round to shoot as .17 HMR.

The .22lr fluted non tapered barrel shoots reasonable for factory. However, I purchased a Lilja barrel that now resides on my CZ 457 VPT that is a track driver at 50 yards. Using Lapua Center X helps too!
