I got the itch to build a 6 arc gasser, but now that I have it completed, I've lost interest in it. Shouldn't have built it to begin with. I like my 556 gas guns, if Im gonna play around with other cartridges, I just assume build a bolt gun I guess. Build has 0 rounds on it except the LAW folder, it was on a MK18 pistol before and saw about 200 rounds of 556.
Here's the build list and what I have into it. I'm asking $4000 firm for the rifle. If I cant get that I'll keep it, I'll get interested again at some point. I also have a Burris XTR Pro 5.5-30x56 SCR2 Mil/Mil Black I'd sell with it. Its been mounted on a bolt gun in a Seekins mount but hasn't been used. Id do $5750 for gun and scope, so you would need to find a mount. If I were to mount the scope, Id go with a Badger C1 or an Area419 Tactical in 20moa and 1.5 height w/ a dive board and a level. Not interested in trades or parting it out. Will sell whole as is or keep it.
I named the build the MK117 SPR Mod J "Master Chief" haha, kind of did a Halo theme (Barrel under the handguard is gold like the chief's visor). More pictures available on request.
UPDATE 11/20/24:
I went ahead and got an Area419 Tactical Cantilever Scope Mount, 34mm, 20moa with level and diving board, and installed a Burris XTR PRO 5.5-30x56 mil/mil scope in it and mounted it up. The entire build is all brand new, except the LAW folder, it is used. Price for the rifle is $4000, price for the optic setup is $2000. Price for the entire package is $5,750.00. New pictures included showing the optic mounted and the Gold VHT Ceramic Header Paint on the barrel under the handguard to complete the Halo Master Chief scheme.
