This is a catch and release for me. I’ve decided to go with a Boyd’s laminate for the hunting rifle project I’m working on. This is not a Remington take off, as the butt pad is branded HS Precision. It’s not pretty, as it shows normal signs of use but more importantly, the inletting was opened up for the DBM by the previous owner and it’s definitely not done by a CNC machine. Nonetheless, it’s perfectly functional. The DBM is unbranded so I’m not sure who made it.
Price is $250 shipped for both. This is a good deal for someone not bothered by those aesthetics and I’m just passing it on.
