This action is cut to accept AICS pattern mags only. I prefer to use Hawkins hunter mags for this build so I changed things around.
Extremely little use, ~35 rounds of 6.5 PRC.

I was unaware it’s possible for an action cut for aics mags to not work with Hawkins hunter. My coup de grace works fine with hunter mags and I didn’t specify it when ordering.

This is true for the Short Action AICS/Hawkins Hunter compatibility. But the long action AICS/Hawkins compatibility is different.
My understanding is recent versions of the Long Action do accept the Hawkins Hunter, but this one would not work, I tried!
