Neat 70's marlin with some extras and work done.
Cut down to ~16.5" and threaded 1/2x28 - currently set up with an ASR brake. Comes wearing ramline synthetic stock and forearm, XS sights long rail with rear peep and proper height front sight. Slicked up and very smooth.
Currently mounted is a Luep VX Freedom 2-7 in vortex rings.
Definitely one of the handiest rifles I have, and with 150 Corelokts is scary accurate for a lever.
I'm perfectly fine keeping this for my boys to learn on and hunt with, but I'm also looking for a shorter barreled .308 to lug around the deer woods until they're old enough to hunt.
TV : ~$1400 as is, local buyer can have about 100 rounds of ammo. More pics on request.
I am looking for a .308 or .338 Federal with a threaded barrel no longer than 20". Prefer one in a stock like a grayboe renegade, krg xray or maybe an HTG type. Bergara, Remington, Tikka etc. Might look at others. Will add cash if needed.
