Just a few pics of a nice Wyoming Mulie I killed this weekend. He's not the biggest hog on the mountain, but the situation was perfect, so we decided not to pass him up.
The shot was lasered by the Geovids at 638 yds, which was 3.2mil elevation adjustment -- 7wsm, 168gr BergerVLD. Bullet performance was excellent IMO, blew up the heart/lungs area and about a tennis ball sized exit.
Big thanks to my hunting buddy Alex (EOS here on the hide). He first spotted the deer, called out my ranges, and helped me drag and cape this big bodied mulie.
Without his help I would have not bagged this guy.
Here's the deer and rifle:
Surgeon Scalpel 7mm WSM, SA RH
23" Krieger Heavy Palma Contour 1:9
-- Heavily fluted by Krieger
Surefire Brake/Adapter
McM A1-3 Sand Camo
FDE Cerakote Metal
Desert Sand Cerakote optic
S&B 4-16x50, MRAD, ST CCW, GenII XL
Jewell Trigger @ 10oz
12.5lbs all up as pictured.
