I am looking for the Colorado Micro Precision NV mount used on the USMC XM3 rifles. I have the L/E version but need the USMC to complete my clone build. If anyone can help I would appreciate it!!!

You bet...... the pic on top shows a true USMC XM3, if you look at the NV mount you can see that there is no “tail” on the back end of the mount that protrudes rearward toward the optic. The next pic, shows the L/E version with the tail. It’s just an extension of the pic rail. The USMC did not use that mount as it interfered with the scope/NV setup.

Prob not going to sell my L/E mount until I can source an original unit. I’ll keep you posted on it.

FYI, there are two versions of the mount that Colorado Micro Precision made without the rear extension. The original or early version is as pictured on the real XM3, where both the front and back end have a top section of the picatinny rail. Then there was a later version that is almost exactly the same, but the they pushed the rail forward a tiny bit, so the back end has the bottom section. See pic below, taken from CMP's own doc on these but marked by me to show the differences, for comparison. Just in case anyone finds one but miss that one little detail.
