Re: YEHAWWW... ORDERED MY MANNERS MCS-T4A
know your excitement! I just got the call for the completion of my T-5A in desert molded -in!!! All they need to know when you call to check on your "Order" is the build number. (I know you will call several times before the 'due' date!!! I did!) I am new to this site, but not new to shooting. I was greeted with sarcasm, wariness and careful eyeing, I chose not to ask too many questions and to wit until had a 'stick' that was worthy of discussion. Of the two questions that I did pose, both were answered with great explanation and worthy advice. My Surgeon built "stick" (I hate that expression...") will be complete in a month or so. I digress, my experience with Manners was nothing less than top notch! Instant answers even through their move!
I would like the opportunity to speak of my personal experience with Surgeon Rifles. My story starts when tried to locate a 'reputable' rifle builder. I came to this forum and asked the question. Several responded, I found out I was an hour away from Surgeon. After a tour, and a stern talk from Stephen, my order was placed and I await the fruits of my toil. My stock from Manners arrived two days ago and I have received two phone calls from Surgeon... I feel as though I am their only customer!
writing here on the 'hide is daunting. I served for twenty+ years, and no, wasn't a sniper, just a regular guy that made the Navy shooting team. Not bragging, just saying, I love this forum, a lot of good advice. I see how it is hard to speak/ask questions in the midst of the "Lions". Maybe the search engine isn't perfect. So I asked a repeated question...!! I always check the 'hide for sponsors, Ceylon, back me up...! LOL and I like the camaraderie !. I took a hiatus from the forum becauseI didn't have a real 'dog' in the fight. I will have a full range report from my Surgeon when it arrives; until then, Thanks to all who have responded to a "newbie".
