Hunting & Fishing Yote question

I live in a suburban area and the cops arent willing to do anything about the coyotes in the neighborhood. One attacked a dog a few blocks over and I've lost 3 cats over the last few years.

Short question: Will a .22LR kill one at less than 40 yards?

yes - boltripper is right... just use subsonic ammo and asuppressor. place the shot in the brain cavitiy of the head or go for the arota. aroata will kill but also give it enough time to run off and just die where it was standing

Yes, whisper in there ear... If they are coming that close in to your house, you shouldn't have a problem getting a 20-30 yard shot off.

i take out raccoons in the back yard when im home on leave. use a 10/22 with subsonic rounds. dont have a need for a can seeing as at 2am i cranked off 9 rounds at a pair of em and the nosey neighbors never heard a thing. got five out of fifteen days of playing in the back yard with out word one from the neighbors.

Throwing knives? Seriously I had the same issue and got rid of them with some baseballs. Figured I'd try some crystalized dog no before thinking of the quiet stuff. Then I got divorced and that kinda fixed my end of the yote problem.
