Hunting & Fishing Young hunter nails a nice boar!

Took a long time family friend out hunting over the weekend
His oldest son and mine are friends too.
The boy (14) got his first ever anything...
a nice 255 Russian Boar
Had a great time doing some bass fishing and just hanging out together...

He nailed this sucker, straight through the shoulder, through the heart and exited the far side behind the shoulder.
Made it 20 yards. 165g Barnes out of a 3078 about 70 yards away.
Lots of hog sightings, had one within 15 yards of me and my son but he took off running and he couldn't get the shot off..

I did the same thing with a 16yr old from a non hunting family this weekend. He took 5 hogs out of the gene pool for me.

He bloodied my latest build, a SAC 223AI. A 75gr Amax in the ear on one and a the other one between the eyes.
