Anyone use this stock on their 10/22? Any feedback on it?

I like the look of the "camo" color and am considering giving my 10/22 a complete facelift. I did the trigger and guts a working over a long time ago, but I'm thinking of going for a threaded bull barrel and quite possibly this stock.

Re: Yukon Extreme Stock?

This is a variation of a stock sold by Boyd (Blaster), and its original over 20 years be Reinhard Fajen.

For a thumb high position, I still like the Fajen origin best, the thumb shelf is a little more prominent.

Except that the forearm is cut down under the receiver just where I most want depth, it's a great stock for standing .
I have often used this for Smallbore Silhouette.

It was designated Fajen's Thumbhole Silhouette stock and was with the full depth forearm bolt action rifles from Anschutz, Krico, and Remington.

Then the Clarks got their hands on them 25 years ago and nothing has been the same every since.

I prefer the looks of these babies:

But that's only If I would ever want something flashy like that, I'd probably much prefer something like this:

Re: Yukon Extreme Stock?

I have one (even in the camo color!) on the 10/22 I built. It is an excellent stock for offhand shooting.

You may have to sand the barrel channel a little bit to make it true free float.

I know I started this thread last March, but the rifle is finally put together.

Yup, I did have to sand the channel a bit, especially at the very fore end. Used some Birchwood/Casey TruOil to re-seal it and all is well.
