ZB47: A Truly Weird Czech SMG

It might be interesting to see a revival of the design but flip the magazine and rotor 180 degrees, do like the Kel-Tec P50 and have the magazine under the barrel, and you wouldn't need as long an action arm to rotate the mechanism either.

would make for a very compact bullpup style PCC if it was done right, and rotary mechanisms are generally very reliable.

make it a quad-stack using a single-plate follower and you might be able to get over 100rds in an extremely compact form factor, and having four columns of 25-30 would reduce the problem of binding from case taper

I watched that and would love to have one. Outside of the slow mag changes, it seems like a well working smg. Something like 1,200 rounds a minute cyclic rate. :)
