I’m currently building a 6.5 PRC HUNTING rifle in a short, compact package with 20” Proof Barrel. The rifle will be light but not too light (McMillan edge fill, Kauger Arms Elite action). I’m being offered two brand new scopes from some buddies of mine within $100 of each other that I’ve decided to top it with. A Zeiss Victory V8 2.8-20x56 with the #60 reticle and a Swarovski X5i 3.5-18x50 with BRM-I reticle. Like I said, this rifle will be a hunting rifle 99% of the time and I’m only experienced in SFP scopes (NF G7 5.5-22x50 and Leupold VX6HD 4-24x52). Those with experience with these two models, which one is recommended from this group? Thanks!
