Long time lurker, first time poster...
I have a 6.5CM load that I chrono'd at my home range with a Density Altitude of 2540ft. I zeroed at 200yd, input the MV and DA into Strelok and all is well.
Then, I took a class yesterday where we trued our loads on the KD range. The DA at that range yesterday was ~950ft. Got my adjustment from Strelok based on my zero data, took a couple shots and then adjusted 5-6 clicks to get on the X at 400 yards. I trued (that's a weird word) in Strelok. Started banging steel at 1,000 with confidence, and even hit the 1,760 yard (24"x36" steel) target.
Now, when I go back to my home range, back to 2540 ft DA (or whatever it'll be on a given day), will Strelok be "off" because I've trued at the 955 DA? Or, does it automagically know to adjust back when I input the new DA? Or, will I need to "true" again once I get home?
