Sidearms & Scatterguns Zero Tolerance 0300

Re: Zero Tolerance 0300

Most comments are very positive, just big. And no don't have one, but spoke with some knife builders who had hands on....while i was selecting my build.

So beyond size for EDC. the other complaints are more or less the same as SB vs USO vs NF vs Hens...... each one is a POS to someone.

Re: Zero Tolerance 0300

VERY strong pocket clip, would likely wear out fabric if not bent out a bit (loosened up). I sold both of mine, they are strong knives but I never warmed to them.

Re: Zero Tolerance 0300

I have a Zero Tolerance 0300 and like it. As others have mention takes a licking and keeps on ticking. However, there a heavier than others. I carry a SOG Trident Tanto - Black TiNi. It's lighter, but I wouldn't use it to pry something open as it's not as strong as the ZT.

Re: Zero Tolerance 0300

Thanks for all the replies. I carry a Emerson Mini-Commander now and am just looking for something a little bigger and rugged. I would love a Strider but they are WAY out of my price range. I can be pretty hard on knives and the Zero Tolerance seems to fit the bill for what I need.

Re: Zero Tolerance 0300

I've handled the ZTs, and know a couple people that own/use them. They seem like a well made, durable knife, but I just don't care for the blade shape. Seems like it's shaped more like a skinning knife than an EDC knife.

Re: Zero Tolerance 0300

I carry a 302 ED and love it. It is just as strong as any of the others I looked at or own. holds a super edge with the spyderco sharpener.

Re: Zero Tolerance 0300

I have a 0350 also and like it alot. Got it for Christmas last year and have been carrying it since. Put my Strider on the shelf. Good knife.

Re: Zero Tolerance 0300

I am very impressed with the 0350. Locked myself out of the house this weekend and had to use it to pry my door. All it did was put some lite scuffs on the blade coating. Just a little solivent on it and it looked good as new.
