Finally put together the ar10 parts I had lying around and it work great once I got the gas block adjusted but then it started having issues ejecting and seemed to really chew up the rims.

I know the AR10 ejectors are normally pretty rough on the brass but I just want confirmation on what I've gathered from forum browsing.

Based off what I've seen it probably wasn't gassed properly, or the buffer weight was off, but weighing more towards improper gassing

This was running it with empty casings just to test cycling, work work fine then every couple rounds it would either fail to fully pick up a round which is probably cause it doesn't have a bullet or fail to fully go into battery

This was my match chassis for the last year. It has almost every upgrade from MPA/Grey Ops and is ready to compete right out of the box. All original parts will also come with this allowing you to play around and set it up exactly how you want. Right now I have it set up with full internal weights, full external weights, Lightweight Matrix Pro 2 Cheek and Bag Rider, and the rest of the adjustable guts pulled out of the stock to keep weight down so it will balance with zero play. The way its setup it perfectly balances with a M24/MTU barrel but if you want to run a Comp Contour or Straight Taper, just take some external weights off. There are a ton of extra grips, thumb rests and other accessories that add up to over $500 with of upgrades over a stock matrix pro. Chassis has some cerakote wear in the hot spots (arca rail, mag well, ect) but shoots perfect.

Looks like I may an opportunity for a career pivot and a sizable income increase. But it will require working a rotating shift work schedule. It's been a long time since I've worked any night shifts I'm sure there are better tips and tricks since I did it last. At least I'm older and all of the kids are out of the house.

I'd be working 7 night shifts & 7 day shifts per month (3 night / 3 day / 4 night / 4 day) with 3 or 4 days off, respectfully between shifts. As challenging as it may be, the pay will be enough to allow my wife to retire early.

So...what tips and/or tricks do you have to navigate and tame this mystical beast?
Getting sleep going from nights to days and vice versa
Eating windows during night shifts
Prefered stimulants (besides coke & meth)
Supplements for sleep / daily use
Work out timing

Anything else you can think of. Even weird shit.

This is a catch and release. Manners MCS-T with BDL bottom metal and screws. Bedded for a Rem 700 Long Action with the heavy lug and will accommodate up to a medium Palma barrel (slightly larger than a Proof Sendero). Older desert gap ceracoat, bottom metal is FDE.

Forearm has a M-Loc rail bedded in and includes a Pic Rail for mounting a bipod.

Will include extra spacers for lengthening the LOP.

For sale is a gen 3 ATX in red with a proof 6.5 Creedmoor stainless barrel threaded 5/8-24.
Rifle comes with long fore end, high & low action rails / folder / 1 magazine with the new follower / 3d printed bag rider/thumbrest
Round count on the Action is 215. Round count on the proof barrel is 55 (followed proof's break in procedure).
New barrel has yet to produce a group over .5 MOA with factory 140 ELDMs.
Rifle is in excellent condition. A few marks on the arca rail from bipod and some on the bolt knob.

I picked up this rifle here on the hide from the original owner hoping to scratch my AI itch, but went back to shooting left handed bolt guns more.

Bipod / scope / mount not included.
