BnA Tacsport X vs PRO

I had several pros and then bought a regular tacsport on the px. The pro break is better, it's like someone pulled the rug out from under you. The top sear just provides a better fit to individual actions, to get perfect cocking piece engagement without being too much(drag) or too little(drops fp). Call bullet central, they will install whatever top sear you need for your action. This saves the 38.00 that an additional top sear would cost you.

Help Needed - The Curse of the "Free" Gun continues- Stiller Vs Defiance & other 700 action clones

You may be better served by reassembling the parts you have into two rifles for two different purposes.

The two new barrels you ordered will fit the existing action, but are unlikely to fit a new action with different threads and headspace.

What you have now would not be my choice for hunting. It's fine for hitting steel a long way away, but the new, lighter barrels do not complement that use.

Rethink, starting with what purpose you want this rifle to serve.

Good luck.

Simple solution. 20 years hard time. Gotta start making an example of arsonists - man/woman/alien. But 20 years, no parole, super max prison...see how these young communists like that shit!! She did a real crime, she wasn't just in the same vacinity as the crime (thinking J-6rs). Actions like this need to be nipped in the bud. Go ahead, protest the dealership all day long - but you cannot commit arson.
Correct me if I am wrong please. As far as I know, deadly force is allowed to stop an arsonist.

Sidearms & Scatterguns Best value in a clay gun?

Shotguns are 100% about fit. You will shoot better with a $500 semi-auto that fits you, than a 10k O/U that doesn't, and visa versa.
Good advice.

I don't shoot much anymore but when I did I got a long well with my Ithaca SKB. Thought it was a good valued shotgun.

And most important of all it fit like it belonged on my shoulder.

For recoil with an O/U I used this and thought it helped.

I shot trap so if you need both bbls, I think they can be put in the stock

Skeet is a type of clays shooting. Along with Trap, 5 Stand, Sporting Clays, FITASC, etc, etc.... and then variations on those.

As the others have said fit is more important than the brand. Go to a National or State shoot with vendors and handle everything possible. There will be staff on hand that can give you an assessment of fit. Modern semi auto at a responsible price point have alot of flexibility with adjustable spacers, shims, ribs and combs.

KAC vs Radian Model 1 vs JP enterprises ctr-02

I appreciate that man. I have a Q fix 6.5cm for him right now, and he loves it, i just think a soft shooting JP rifle would be perfect for him. I haven't seen one single negative thing about them, other than the price! But that's why we go to work everyday, to buy the shit we want lol.

I hope my wife doesn't sell all this stuff for what I told her I gave for it 😂 😅
We all feel that way😂

SOLD Kryptek clothing clean out

Moved to the south so don’t need all this any more.

Aegis XL jacket $200 shipped.

Aegis XL Tall bibs $200 shipped.

Light weight warm weather shirt ( not sure of the model it’s older and tags have faded)
$50 shipped.

Over whites including pack cover, mits, and beanie. $100

Can combine and give discounts.

The aegis jacket and bibs have very little use.

The light weight shirt has quite a bit of use but is in good shape. I can’t Find any noticeable wear and tear other than the tags being faded out from being washed probably.

The over whites I might have used 1 time, they look brand new.

Maggie’s What's Your View II

There is something wrong with men who are interested in cats, that is a woman thing
You’re not wrong.

I’ve gone my entire life without owning a cat, and never wanted one. My wife’s allergic to ‘em so I figured we were safe. But now that I’m retired (twice!), we suddenly have 3.5 of the damn things!

First one was a semi-feral cat from our old neighborhood that crawled under my track car to die in our garage after being attacked by an owl; guess how that turned out. Meow Meow in repose:

IMG_7270.jpeg

Second one was a kitten just a couple weeks old found in our backyard by one of our dogs … mom nowhere to be found, and three other kittens dead in the field behind our house. We found an adoptive momma cat in our neighborhood, and a month later after she was weaned, we suddenly had cat #2; Señorita Frijoles, AKA The Shitten:

The third one was adopted by our daughter when she was away at school… She calls him her “boy” LoL, but technically named Figaro, or Fig. He’s a nut bag…always in motion, and no fear of anything, or anyone. Playing with our grandpuppy here:

The 1/2 cat is an orange neighborhood Tom that technically belongs to our neighbors, but eats and sleeps on our porches. He won’t let anyone touch him, and doesn’t have a name…just Orange Kitty. Coming over for a visit:

So yeah… I still think of myself as a dog person, but TBH don’t mind outdoor “barn” cats. They cut down on the vermin and snakes around the house for sure. Yet somehow, here I sit, dad to 3.5 cats.

God help me.

Shotguns are 100% about fit. You will shoot better with a $500 semi-auto that fits you, than a 10k O/U that doesn't, and visa versa. The advantage you get with expensive guns is of course build quality but a lot of times they include some options to help fit the gun to you. That's stock shims with semi-autos and adjustable combs and/or ribs with O/U. My advice to new shooters is try and shoot as many guns as you can before buying. Your initial impression is likely correct. I have been competing in some sort of clay shooting game for 27 years, and have been lucky enough to shoot an insane amount of guns. Obviously for the serious competitor, high end guns are amazing. But I always come back to Beretta semi-autos, and browning O/Us as high quality reliable shotguns for someone that is getting started or just wants to shoot occasionally. Don't worry about semi or O/U. Worry about what fits you and is comfortable to shoot. Recoil matters in shotgun sports just like precision rifle. Recoil mitigation comes with shotgun fit. Also, gas operated semi-autos will shoot softer that inertia.

Enjoy another rabbit hole!
