Ditto in New Mexico. At this altitude, anything metal with black surface becomes frying pan hot really fast.

The bergara should fit in fine, as long as it doesn’t have an oversized recoil lug (which I don’t think it does). Where you might see issues is the trigger, depending on what you decide to use. Early Timney sometimes had to have a little relief work done, I don’t know of the stock bergara triggers. Will be easy to tell when you get it though.

The long action single stack mags will work fine (and are what you need for the chassis anyways). The AW reference is for the double stack short action AW mags - they require some work in a stock Remington action to feed correctly since they’re staggered vs single feed (think AR mag + feed ramps vs single stack AICS mags).

I like Remington actions, especially ones that have gone off to a smith. If it were me that’s what I’d drop in and have it pretty close to the mk13 look. Nothing wrong with the Bergara though.

never had a double digit before.
I built a Mega mono upper and billet lower that I have had laying around since 2013 into my ARC

I too would get the pro as I like my pull weights in the handful of ounces.
And just order it with the right sear in the first place for no extra coin.
The low sear is a good match for my three origins across several years of production.

It sure looks like the mounts rear clamp is impeding the ejection port. The relief cut on the under side of the Pic rail is there to allow clearance for ejection.

I used him for CZ 457 bolt knob a while back. I tried to get in touch to get another one done up, but I didn't hear back so after a few weeks, I moved on to Phoenix Custom Rifles.

The Israeli's couldnt have done any better. Some will get the joke.

I own the rifle in the last picture. I would recognize that picture anywhere! The stock was a "Dep Taylor" stock which was finished and set up with correct sling swivels and butt plate.

With the amount of money people spend on this hobby, I remain surprised that someone hasn't come along with a custom reticle scope purchase option.
